This is a one piece 14 MOA slip-on 1” (2.54cm) extension Picatinny rail which will allow you to mount tactical hardware such as flashlights, lasers, sights, and many other types of accessories onto a Nerf gun. The Picatinny Rail follows the military specifications for sizes, so any standard Picatinny mount will attach to it. Picatinny rails are an easy way to quickly mount, change, and relocate accessories by clipping, locking, or clamping them on and off.
Applications:
This rail adapter is designed to fit on many Nerf gun mounts. There is a recess on the underside of the rail so it sides over the Nerf mount.
Designs:
This is an extended riser rail which is best used when you need clearance in the front or away from the Nerf mount. There are generally two methods I use to make Picatinny mounts; a slip-on design and a clamp-on design. This is the slip on type. They are easy to install, by simply tightening two 10-32 stainless steel set screws which are threaded into the body of the mount. There are additional 10-32 threads in the body of the mount if you want to add oddly mounted accessories.
Dimensions for both are the same:
5.31” (13.48cm) long, 1.0” (2.54cm) wide and 1.24” (3.14cm) in height.
